Forestry Mulching and Land Clearing: Big Plans Start with Open Ground
We clear brush, cedar and overgrown acreage with a forestry mulcher. It grinds brush and trees into mulch right where they stand, so there's nothing to haul off.
Serving landowners in Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas, within about 150 miles of Nevada, Missouri.

What your ground looks like when we leave
When the mulcher is done, this is what you'll see.
- A layer of mulch. It covers the bare ground, which can help keep soil from washing away, and it breaks down over time.
- Stumps mulched to ground level or below. No stumps are left sticking up.
- Roots left in the soil. They hold the ground together.
- The trees you want kept. Flag the ones that stay and we work around them.

What people ask first
Is my job too small?
We work for homeowners as well as farms and ranches. Send a photo and a rough size, and Jim will tell you if it's a fit.
How big a tree can you take down?
That depends on the tree and the ground around it. Tell us about the biggest trees in the area or send a photo with something in it for scale. Jim will let you know.
Will the machine tear up my yard or pasture?
Any heavy machine leaves some marks, and wet ground is where ruts happen. If the machine has to cross your yard to reach the brush, tell us where it can get in and what's buried under the grass.
How long will my job take?
It depends on how thick it is, how big the trees are and the lay of the land. We'll give you an idea of how long it should take when we price the job.
Do I need a permit?
It depends on where the property is. If it's within city limits or has HOA rules, check the local requirements before work starts. Some cities and homeowners associations have rules about removing trees. Forestry mulching generally minimizes soil disturbance, because it doesn't involve excavation or grading.
